So... I've fallen off the blog wagon. And, like so many things in life, once I fall behind, sometimes it seems so hard to get back on. Mainly, because I have lots of outdated blog posts floating around in my head (from Christmas, New Year's, Shimmer's birthday, and even Valentine's Day), and it feels strange to post something so dated now that spring is around the corner. But, I hope those of you who do follow, or subscribe, will bear with my need to fill in the blanks with backdated posts, so that I can empty my mind, while I can still remember the details and attempt to chronicle them for my family. Two steps back, and one step forward, in my case!
